The clay is our shadow, it reacts to the movements of our hands. Kids do, too, don't they? And even if we mess up, we can always start over and try again. We mess up as potters and we mess up as parents… but we keep trying and hopefully keep getting better!

My husband and I have one child now and we have just been matched with a sweet 8 year old girl in Malawi in Africa. We can't wait to adopt her and are looking forward to getting a court date there so we can go get her!

I hope you enjoy my pottery. It's my creative escape from the world so I can be refreshed and go home and be a better MAMA BEAR!
